5 Million Downloads – Wow, God!

mp3PlayerYesterday the team and I at Living on the Edge were reflecting on all the ways God has provided and shown up in miraculous ways this past year. The increased ministry on our website came up.

So I asked our director of technology, “How many free downloads has Living on the Edge given away this year?”

I was astounded by his response, “Just about 5 million.”

WOW, God! You are generous! Thank You for Your provision and giving us the privilege of stewarding Your Word through technology and creativity.

I would also like to shout a big THANK YOU to all of you who support Living on the Edge. It is because of your partnership, millions of people every year hear the Word of God and their lives are transformed!

Here’s how your partnership is reaching thousands of others just like Cathy:

I just want to thank those responsible for these resources being online and free.  I stumbled across this ministry on the radio dial at a time of great turmoil in my life.  I am using these resources to keep me strong while getting my life sorted out.  If I had had to pay for these, I never would have heard them.  I have shared this blessing with others and I can’t thank you enough.

Thank again.
Cathy

Again, we thank God for 5 million downloads this year and anticipate how we together with God’s provision and leading, will reach even more in 2010 to help Christians live like Christians.

Pressin’ Ahead Together,

Thank you. I listen daily online while I clean and take care of my 4 kids. You have inspired me to greatness in my walk with God. I have prayed more earnestly, dreamed greater and believed with more passion then I have in my entire 33 years of life. My husband was so inspired by the “Dream Great Dreams” that he now downloads them on his iphone to listen away from home.
I haven’t given to lote financially yet, but I its on my to-do list when I sit down to do the bills. I have received so much instruction from you…hours and hours. I wish you were my pastor.

Thanks,
Jessica

I am a mom of six and my husband does not go to church with me. He thinks the bible is all just stories. Anyway, I belong to a small church and since we got a new pastor, I just don’t feel right there anymore. He just reads the sermon and I get nothing. I get more out of what I hear on the family life network, our radio station. Your program.

When is it right to leave a church? I don’t want to make a stink, this seems to be just my problem (I did talk to one of the female elders). But I dread going to church each Sunday. I feel disconnected.

Maybe church is just not for me. What do you think?

I heard about this website while driving and listening to people who really know what I am feeling and going through. I lost my husband this past June after 33 years of marriage and I lost my Mom four days later. This was followed by 3 more deaths of relatives and a close friend. I have found such “comfort & peace of mind” listening to your dedicated people and am anxious to make this website a daily visit. Also, it’s FREE and right now my finances are in dire straights so I welcome free “stuff”.
Thanks so much for being there!!!!
