Filming R12!

Hey everybody!

I asked you all to pray for the filming of Romans 12 this week—it has been really, really important and I wanted to thank you and give you an update.

We just finished up three full days of filming for TV, small group, the internet and it has gone great!  I am exhausted and headed back in to wrap up filming today…keep praying, we have really seen God’s grace on this project.  I can’t wait to get the Romans 12 material into lots of people’s hands so they can discuss it and grow!

Keep pressin’ ahead—Chip

Dear Mr. Dr. Pastor… Ingram..or just Chip, I am not sure what to address you as.
I have a dilemma other than what to address you as.
I have a friend that says the Will of God can differ from Gods word (the bible).
He says The Will of God and The Word of God can contradict.
Other than I just simply know and believe in the Bible as Gods will and perfect word to and for us. I cannot prove that Gods Word and Gods will are inseparable, I need help. As a Christian I know they cannot, but I am lost as to what scripture I can point out to my friend that proves what I believe. I know you are busy but it would be great to have your incite into the matter and get some verses that would be helpful. It would be helpful for my personal benefit and for my discussion with my friend.
Your Brother in Christ,
David
P.S. The teachings God has done through you have transformed our family in ways I cannot explain! You are a Blessing, Thank you for having a heart to serve the Lord and do His will.

Chip,
Its a real pleasure to listen to you on my way to work each and every morning, You are a real blessing and so uplifting that just makes my day, thank you. I have a dilemma that I just can’t find the way to explain to my wife about, my sister and I have a bond to which I was the only family member that was able to hold onto my nephew’s hand when they had to remove life support from him, it was the only way he was able to breath and keep his heart beating, he had his truck fall on him and cut off air to his brain for a period of time that left him brain dead. And then right after that I was involved in an accident that I lost my leg and the company I was working for went bandrupt the day after the accident and just swept me under the rug, I went for two years being home bound with going thru 23 surgeries trying to save what was cut off by a backhoe which after 2 years and all the surgeries did not work, they decided to take my right leg, I was not married at the time and my sister fixed me 3 meals a day and kept my house clean, the only way to leave my home way by way of ambulance. So this created a strong bond between my sister and I, I cannot get it across to my wife that I place her before my sister but there is nothing that can remove the bond that my sister and I have and my wife is very much jealous of this, I have been in deep prayer about this and I guess I just have not waited and been quiet to hear what the lord has to say on this matter so I thought I would ask you, your thoughts on this subject. It would mean a world to me if I could give my wife an answer she would understand. Thank you for your time in this matter, God Bless you and your Romans 12 project

David, I read your comment today and I think my daily devotion speaks to this. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is the basis of unwavering faith.

Hi Chip,
I listened to your teaching on hell today and just wanted to say thank-you for staying so true to Gods Word. It is encouraging to know I can turn on the radio and hear Gods Word preached with clarity and truth.
The only question I wanted to ask you was about the lake of fire. I know it can be a touchy subject but I always understood the lake of fire to be literal.
I will keep you in my prayers! – jason
